Brooklyn Reporter Highlights Ama Dwimoh’s Run for Brooklyn DA

According to reports, former Brooklyn prosecutor Ama Dwimoh, currently serving Borough President Eric Adams’ administration as special counsel and chief compliance officer, is seriously considering a run for the Brooklyn District Attorney seat, the Brooklyn Reporter has learned.

Prosecuting a number of notable cases throughout her career, Dwimoh’s most recent work in the Crimes Against Children Bureau, a division she established in 1997, is perhaps some of her most notable.
